The
BSNL Management held discussions with BWA
leaders of FNTO, NFTE, Rashtiya Union and
others, today evening at 5 p.m. In the first
round of discussions the Management was
not ready to accept our demands hence the
talk was failed. However the management
again called the leaders at 7.30 p.m today
(6/9/09) and the following settlement reached.
1. Regarding
wage revision: The management agreed to
consider and examine the IDA pay scales
of the non-executive w.e.f 01.01.2007 in
the same line and fixation formula adopted
for executives without mentioning any periodicity
neither 5 nor 10. ( If every PSUs are giving
5 year periodicity then no body can refuse
it for BSNL ) The Management asked BWA unions
and other unions to give the acceptance
in writing so that BSNL can move further
in this issue.
2. Minimum
Facilities to Registered Unions: This issue
will take some more time however more seats
will be allotted to BSNL Workers Alliance
for the formal meetings in such circles
where they won the verification
3. All transfer
orders will be kept in abeyance and
each and every transfer orders will be reviewed
and irregular transfer orders will be cancelled.
In view of the above settlement
the agitation is deferred.

Secretary BWA, Mr. sharmajee President Rastiya
Union and other alliance leaders l and thousands
of members who have participated in the
Hunger strike and massive demonstrations
through out India for this success.

Agitation
deferred.
On our agitation
demands, agreement reached between BSNL
Workers Alliance and Director HRD BSNL today
night at 8:30 and the indefinite fast program
has been deferred.
On transfer
issue it is agreed that there will be no
further mass transfers this year. Transfers
made in May and afterwards will kept in
abeyance for 15 days and will be reviewed
for any violation by CGMs concerned.
On wage
revision if other applicant unions express
their opinion categorically corporate administration
will examine
On
trade union facility the number of representative
attending the formal meeting for the second
majority union will be increased and minutes
for the meeting will be issued. Other demands
will be examined with open mind.
